Young Meg Sauvignon Blanc Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes: Young Meg Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough has pungent passionfruit, gooseberry and lime aromas with generous fruit flavours and juicy acidity. This wine is typical of the style which is making New Zealand famous. Drink chilled on its own or with fish, poultry and pasta dishes.

Young Meg Pinot Noir Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes: The bouquet of this Central Otago Pinot Noir is intensely aromatic and has characters of cherry, thyme and dark berries with a hint of truffles and subtle oak. The palate is full and vibrant with typical soft, supple tannins from extended maceration in vat. The 2014 vintage has produced focussed, linear, balanced Pinot Noir wines with great palate persistence. Drink at room temperature on its own or ideal with duck, pork and beef, or rich pasta dishes.
